Come experience a real treat for the mind and body! For the second time, Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden has partnered with certified hatha yoga teacher Gabriel Shamash to present “Yoga in the Garden 2013”. Classes will be held at the Garden on Tuesdays throughout July and August. Relax, meditate and stretch while being surrounded by four classic Chinese elements of harmony: rocks, water, plants and architecture. Let the perfect balance of yin and yang restore your energy at the end of a busy day.

These 45-minute sessions will include a wide range of styles and meditation techniques, so come with and open mind and heart. Beginners will find a safe and nurturing environment to start their yoga journey while advanced practitioners can grow and deepen their practice. Please bring a yoga mat or thick towel to class.

Class Schedule: Tuesday, July 9, 16, 23, 30 & Tuesday, August 6, 13, 20, 27, 6:15pm to 7:00pm
General: $15 / class, Garden Members: $10 / class
Visitors who purchase an individual session ticket AND same day admission to the Garden will receive 50% off the regular admission rate.
