Visiting the Garden
Whether the sun is shining or the rain is falling, the Garden is a perfect place to visit year-round. Our covered walkways provide shelter and our beautiful vistas can be appreciated in any weather. We are wheelchair accessible.
Chinatown is easily accessible by car or transit and is a pleasant walk from downtown Vancouver along the historic Silk Road route.
We are located at 578 Carrall Street (near the corner of Carrall and Keefer), next to the Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Public Park.
The entrance is in the lane off Carrall St. between Pender St. and Keefer St. Look for the red carpet and 2 hanging red lanterns flanking our entrance.
Getting here is easy whether you are walking, driving or taking public transportation.
The Garden is a 15 –20 minute walk from Downtown. You know you’re in Chinatown when the street lamp posts are red and topped with dragons.
From West Vancouver, North Vancouver and Downtown Vancouver:
Drive east on Pender St. to Columbia St.
Turn right on Columbia to Keefer St.
Parkade at 140 Keefer St.
Metered street parking throughout Chinatown
The closest Skytrain Station is “Stadium – Chinatown”. Walk east on Keefer Street for three blocks. We are inside the tall white walls, follow the signs.
