Gerald Dragomir, CMA, FCMA, ChPC
Gerald returns to the Garden Board after a two year hiatus, having served on the Board for 6 years previously.
Gerald has been an accountant in public practice since 1984 when he attained a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation. In 2012 Gerald was awarded a Fellowship (FCMA) based on his years of contribution to CMABC and his local community.
Gerald started the accounting firm, Pace Accounting Inc., to extend his community involvement by providing professional management and accounting support to community based organizations in the Lower Mainland. Gerald was actively involved in the origins of many community groups on the Downtown Eastside and East End area of the city.
Gerald has lived in or around Vancouver since 1973 when he moved here from Windsor, ON. Gerald has made his home in the Commercial Drive area for the entire time he has lived in Vancouver. With Harry Rankin for a next door neighbour it was impossible not to be aware of and get involved in the local community.
Gerald has served on the boards or on an advisory capacity to many organizations over the years. He has also been very actively involved in community sports programs and attained a professional coaching designation (ChPC) in 2010. In 2012 Gerald coached at the Olympics where his athlete set a new Canadian record in his event.
