Visiting the garden

Whether the sun is shining or the rain is falling, the Garden is a perfect place to visit year-round. Our covered walkways provide shelter and our beautiful vistas can be appreciated in any weather.

Chinatown is easily accessible by car or transit and is a pleasant walk from downtown Vancouver along the historic Silk Road route. We are easy to find at 578 Carrall Street (near the corner of Carrall and Keefer, next to the Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Public Park.

Public Tour Times

Known as the Garden of Ease, it’s time to relax, reflect and enjoy. We recommend that you take the time to join a guided tour, which is included in your gate admission. After the tour sip a cup of steaming Chinese tea and savour the moment. Capture the spirit of your experience with the gift shops exquisite Chinese treasures and collectors items.

SPECIAL OFFER - BC RESIDENT'S PASS

For a limited time only, we are offering all BC residents the chance to purchase a special ‘BC Resident’s Pass’ for the same price of a regular adult, senior or student admission. These passes allow unlimited admission for one to the Garden from May 1st to Dec. 31st, 2008 (except during special ticketed Garden events, such as the Enchanted Evenings concert series). These passes are only on sale from May 1st to July 31st, 2008. Photo ID and proof of BC address are required at time of purchase and may also be requested when the pass holder enters the Garden using this pass.
