Update June 25th 2020
The Garden team have been working hard to reopen to the community and we are excited to announce that starting July 3rd, the Garden will be open from 11 am – 4pm Wednesday – Sundays. In the lead up to our reopening we are hosting a Soft Opening for our Annual Pass Holders, volunteers, and Society Members on Wednesday July 1st and Thursday July 2nd between 11 am – 3 pm.
To book your next visit to the Garden once we reopen please register online through our new online ticketing platform: https://vancouverchinesegarden.ticketzone.com.
Unfortunately due to our need to manage visitors to the Garden, those who have not registered will not be permitted entry. At this time we are unable to accommodate third party ticket holders.
If you are a Society Member or Annual Pass holder please be sure to have your valid membership details with you when you arrive to present to our Visitor Services team. If you would like to speak with our team about becoming an Annual Pass Holder, or to renew or confirm the expiry date of your membership, please contact us at email@example.com
What to Expect at the Soft Launch & New Safety Protocols
Moving forward, the Garden will be using the Moon Gate on Keefer as our entrance/exit over the next few months, with movement throughout the Garden guided by a one-way loop starting and ending at the Moon Gate. This may mean that we have to close off some areas of the Garden for the time being. A ramp is also currently being installed at the Keefer entrance to enable easier access, and a fence will be going around the grass to protect it. We appreciate your understanding and support for our soft launch as we make sure the new protocols and signage work to keep everyone happy and safe.
The health, safety and well-being of our visitors, employees, volunteers and our extended community is always our top priority. We have and will continue to be guided by the advice of local, provincial and national public health officials, consider all government recommendations and will make decisions as needed moving forward.
As a non-profit organization, the Garden is grateful for your continued support and understanding.
Be well and stay healthy.
