COVID-19 UPDATE

Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden is dedicated to providing a safe and welcoming space for our visitors, staff, and volunteers. As the COVID19 situation evolves the Garden is committed to working closely with our partners in the city and the province to respond appropriately.

As we make the best effort to follow recommendations and directives announced by the City of Vancouver, Vancouver Park Board, and British Columbia Provincial Government, Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden will be closed to the public, and all events and programming will be cancelled, until further notice.

We will be contacting customers that have booked tickets, events or programming to arrange for refunds or to reschedule their visit once we reopen. Due to staffing limits during this closure, Visitor Services will be closed and there will be delays in processing new orders. Please contact us via email at communications@vancouverchinesegarden.com with any questions, concerns, or requests and we will endeavour to respond as soon as possible.

For our Members and Annual Pass Holders, we will be assessing your renewal dates and will advise of any changes once the Garden reopens.

The health, safety and well-being of our visitors, employees, volunteers and our extended community is always our top priority. It is important to note that health officials for Vancouver, British Columbia and Canada continue to advise that the risk of contracting COVID-19 remains low.

We have and will continue to be guided by the advice of local, provincial and national public health officials, consider all government recommendations and will make decisions as needed moving forward.

As a non-profit organization, the Garden is grateful for your continued support and understanding.

Be well and stay healthy.
