Enchanted Evening with Malleus Trio, Oct 15

Join us for an exclusive evening of exquisite live music and drinks in the unique setting Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden provides.
Doors open at 6:30pm for private access to explore the Garden as your welcome to enjoy some refreshments and hand-made snacks in the tranquil surroundings.
At 7pm we invite you to let Malleus Trio’s soothing tunes enhance this magical evening experience.
Concerts will run from 7:00pm to 8:30pm with a brief 10-minute intermission.
This Enchanted Evening runs rain or shine – in the event of rain, the concert will happen in our gallery space, Hall of One Hundred Rivers.
As the night takes over the Garden, you can venture around our unique space and watch beautiful light decorations take over our rooms.
About Malleus Trio
Seductive grooves, bold melodies and an insistent playfulness run through the music of Malleus Trio. Over their 14-year history, this Vancouver-based group has developed a strikingly personal sound rooted in their broad individual experiences in blues, jazz, pop and avant-garde music as well as countless hours spent playing together. With two albums worth of original material to date and tours to festivals across the Canada, Malleus Trio continue to write, improvise and explore a music that is by turns inviting and urgent, wild and enchanting.
