Family Days are back!
Bring your family to the Garden and join us for some very special events, workshops and lots of entertainment!
Get inspired by the Year of the Tiger and create your own masterpiece during an Art Class (recommended ages: 7-12 years old) Saturday, March 5th at 10:30am.
Admission ticket includes one parent and one child, and it will grant you a spot in the workshop, and all the materials for the workshop.
Once the activity comes to an end, at around 11:30am, we invite you to explore the Garden.
All Family Day activities will take place in one of our spaces, following health and safety protocols and making sure you are safe and comfortable.
We have a limited capacity of 12 children per class.
About the instructor:
Jinfei Wang, is a Chinese visual artist and from a very young age she has been interested in Art and Design.
Her background is in Urban Design at University of Saskatchewan and she is a graduate from the Fine Arts Program at Emily Carr University. Her current art practice is mostly focused in painting and drawing though she also enjoys experimenting with mixed media.
Identity exploration, her Chinese cultural background, the relation with the environment along with femininity play a big part on what inspires Jinfei. She sees her art making process as a journey to her heart. Each artwork and constant curiosity help her in understanding who she really is.
