Art Talks – “Impressions of the Garden: a watercolour painting series” with Nina Kuznetsova

This week, the Garden is proud to present Nina Kuznetsova and “Impressions of the Garden: a watercolour painting series”.
Nina Kuznetsova was born in Crimea, studied fine arts in Ukraine, Canada and the USA. Euroasian heritage and education as well as wastern conceptual schooling experience informed her art in many ways, particularly her painting style. As a Vancouver based visual artist, Nina’s favourite theme, the harmonic coexistence of nature and culture, resonates with Canadian appreciation of nature and multicultural complexity of the society. 
Through her paintings Nina shows her passion for portraying local urban landscapes, where different cultures leave their architectural footprints, and nature is an integral part of the whole. Her impressive artistic versatility and 20 years of experience in the art field reflected in numerous works of different styles and genres. Nina is a member of Canadian Federation of Artists and her works are held in private collections all over the world.
