Art Talks – “Remembering the Forgotten Through Art” with Jason Li

This week, the Garden is proud to present Jason Li and “Remembering the Forgotten Through Art”.

Jason Li is an independent designer, cartoonist and researcher working at the intersection of storytelling, technology and social change.

His practice focuses on amplifying underrepresented voices, creating alternative media ecosystems, and making digital safety more accessible. He also serves as an editor at Paradise Systems, a publisher of exemplary comics from the US and China, and is a member of Zine Coop, an independent publishing collective in Hong Kong.

“This talk will be about my own journey in using art and comics to revisit a hometown that no longer exists, and to capture the energy of political events before they’re forgotten.”
Join us for a free virtual talk on June 12th at 2pm PST.
