Investigation of Things 格物 Opening Reception

Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden invites you to celebrate the opening of Investigation of Things, the first edition of the Canada-China Art Exchange for Young Emerging Artists (加中青年藝術家提名展), and second art exhibition by Artist-in-Residence, Lam Wong.

For this multimedia art exhibit Lam is joined by co-curator Steven Dragonn — independent curator, founder of Canton-Sardine and instructor at the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts– to showcase the artwork of ten young, emerging artists from China and Canada. Nominated by an esteemed group of experts in the art industry, the artists’ work explores how we understand the world around us, and aims to open cultural dialogues between the East and the West through the evocative language of contemporary visual art.

Hosted in collaboration with the Shang Foundation for Art, this exhibition will be showing in the Garden Jan 23 — Mar 21, 2020

The event is open to the public by donation. Please enter via side entrance on Carrall Street.

The Garden is closed temporarily.
