For everyone’s safety, for the time being, Garden Tours will not be included in your visit at this time. Visitors are encouraged to enjoy our complimentary, in-depth brochure as they stroll through the Garden. We recommend all visitors to the Garden wear a mask. Masks are available at Visitor Services upon request. Hand sanitizer is available at the front entrance and at various points throughout the Garden.

Private Group Visits

From a walk in historical Chinatown to Tai Chi in the Garden, we offer specialized group programs that are fun, interactive, and educational.

Contact us to customize your visit! We are happy to work with you to create a meaningful and memorable day for your group.

Discount rates are available for groups. To ensure your visit on the day and time of your choosing, please book at least three weeks in advance and provide the following information:

Three preferred dates and times
Group category (adults or seniors) and group size
Email address, phone number, and organization’s name

Historic Chinatown Walking Tour (90 min)

Visit Vancouver's Chinatown with one of our local experts! Explore this historic area with its traditional markets, family associations, and remarkable architecture to discover the stories of one of North America’s largest Chinatowns.

A Taste of Tai Chi (60 min)

$15.50/Adult | 14.50/Senior

Experience a unique form of martial arts in our beautiful Chinese Garden. Tai chi involves a series of gentle movements and simple postures designed to improve coordination, balance and relieve stress. No previous experience required; safe and engaging for all ages.

Awaken the Dragon (90 min)

$29.00/Participant

A minimum of 14 paying participants is required for Awaken the Dragon. Get into action with this 2,000-year-old tradition. Let our coaches take you out onto the scenic False Creek and teach you the proper technique of dragon boat paddling. All equipment is provided, including personal flotation devices and paddles. A great activity for team-building!
