EMMA LEE - VICE CHAIR

Emma is a first-generation settler, a social worker, and a mom. She is grateful to live on the unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and Sel̓íl̓witulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. She currently works in the Strategic Policy team at the First Nations Health Authority to support the advancement of cultural safety and humility, equity, and reconciliation in our health systems.

Emma is an avid volunteer in her community. Further to the Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Garden’s board, Emma supports various local nonprofits and mentors newcomers at MOSAIC.

In addition to the elected Trustees, there are non-voting seats on the Board for a representative from the City Council of the City of Vancouver, and the Board of Parks and Public Recreation.
