Frank Abbott joined the Garden in 1986.
A dedicated supporter ever since.
Trained as a docent in 1990.
Taught Canadian and Chinese History from 1990 to 2015 in the History Department of Kwantlen Polytechnic University.
Since retirement has published on the history of Chinatown, and reconnected with the pleasure of being a docent again.
Envisions emphasizing the identity of the Garden as an important Vancouver treasure that enriches the cultural life of the whole city.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The Society is governed by a Board of Trustees made of up local community leaders and experts.
In addition to the elected Trustees, there are non-voting seats on the Board for a representative from the City Council of the City of Vancouver, and the Board of Parks and Public Recreation.
