STELLA BOYLAND - BOARD VICE PRESIDENT
Stella is an architectural designer with a previous career in transportation engineering, she holds a Masters of Architecture degree from UBC and an Applied Science Bachelor degree from the University of Waterloo. Stella was born in Hong Kong and has lived in Vancouver for over 35 years. While she loves the great outdoors, she is an urbanist at heart. She believes in sustainable design and has always worked with companies with sustainability as an operating pillar. She believes that through excellent sustainable design, the urban environment can be vibrant, restorative and equitable.
Her side passion projects include community building through The Aviary, which is a Design Collective she co-founded that strives to inspire and connect the design community. She is also working on a new event series that will highlight Chinatown and Chinese culture in a light hearted, informative and meaningful way.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The Society is governed by a Board of Trustees made of up local community leaders and experts.
In addition to the elected Trustees, there are non-voting seats on the Board for a representative from the City Council of the City of Vancouver, and the Board of Parks and Public Recreation.
