Photography + Filming
You are encouraged to photograph the beauty of the Garden for personal use. Please note that the image and design of the garden is copyrighted and we ask that you do not sell or otherwise use your images for commercial activities including print, broadcast, or web advertising. If you are a professional photographer and interested in including photos of the garden in your work, please contact our Marketing Manager.
Please note that light stands, large equipment, luggage, and costumes are not permitted during public hours. We will ask you to stop any staged photo shoots, photographic or filming activity that may block our pathways or cause nuisance to others. All staged photo shoots require a reservation and are not permitted during our regular public hours.
Staged photo shoots are not permitted during the Garden’s public hours, and must be reserved in advance with our events team.
A staged photo shoot is considered any individual or group coming for the purpose of posed photography. Whether with a professional photographer or simply a friend, staged photo shoots are not permitted during the Garden’s public opening hours. Examples of staged photo shoots include: engagement photos, wedding photos, prom photos, senior or graduation photos, and posed portrait photos in costumes or special attire.
Photo shoots can be scheduled outside of the Garden’s opening hours, or on Mondays during our shoulder season when the Garden is closed to the public. You are then at your leisure to utilize professional equipment and stage shots in privacy, with beautiful early morning or evening lighting.
Please email your full name, contact number, and the proposed date of your visit to request a photo shoot email@example.com. Our coordinator will respond to you with the booking details.
For school projects, feature-length films, and documentaries, we require a written request that includes a description of the project and anticipated date(s) of filming. For all film inquiries, please visit our Filming page.Visit our FAQ
